URKL (Ultimate Robot Knock-out Legend) is a humanoid robot fighting league where every team starts with the same machine — EngineAI's T800, a 173 cm humanoid built by a Shenzhen robotics company. Nobody wins with better hardware; teams compete by teaching the T800 to move, balance, recover, and fight through software. More than 200 teams registered, 32 passed online qualification, and the bracket runs down to an eight-team double-elimination final. There's already been a preview bout, too: Bullfighter beat White Eagle 3–2 in July.

This is BattleBots with code instead of sawblades — and a rare public test of how well humanoid robots handle chaos.
